Membership is open to everyone, players and non-players alike. Annual fees run from August 1st to July 31st of each year. Junior members pay $10.00 per year; adults pay the same plus a $5.00 contribution for insurance. Membership in our club includes membership in Chess Express Ratings. Our members will be invited to our social activities, have a comfortable learn/play to play, see their SCCC-sponsored tournament games rated as we advertise, and have voting rights as outlined in our by-laws. When we have completed cataloguing our lending items, members will have access to over 200 items. Members of the Simcoe County Chess Club know that joining our club enriches both the member, and our community. We applaud every member for their positive contribution to Simcoe County!

Membership is required only for participation in Simcoe Saturdays, library tournaments, summer camp, and mall play.
